The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure is seeking ten (10) individuals to join the Saint John District as Operations Worker I's working on the Kennebecasis Island, Peninsula Princess, Gondola Point and Westfield Ferries.
As a member of the Saint John District, the successful candidates will be required to direct traffic on and off the ferry and to assist in the maintenance of both the ferry and landings and other related duties.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of grade ten (10) and one (1) year experience in the operation and maintenance of a vehicle ferry. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Must be in possession of a MED A2 (Small Passenger-Carrying Vessel Safety) Certificate.

Written and spoken competence in English is required. Please state your language capability.

The following operational requirements are also required: shift work, working on weekends; and/or; variable hours.

SALARY: $18.63 per hour
