The Junior Advisor would report to a Senior Advisor, who would provide coaching and mentorship throughout the placement. The Junior Advisor will learn about the priorities of a variety of GNB departments, including the inner workings of government decision-making across various sectors. The responsibilities of the Junior Advisor will include: coordination and management of government strategies, priorities, and reports; qualitative data analysis; use of portfolio management tools (SharePoint, Power BI); coordination of information and reconcile reports; research and findings sharing; development and maintenance of various documents to support team operations; and light administrative tasks.
While this position will reside within PAS, the Junior Advisor will also collaborate with Executive Council Office (ECO) Accountability teams, gaining broader corporate awareness and exposure to performance excellence across GNB.  This is a unique opportunity that could be a steppingstone into future opportunities with FTB, ECO, or any of the departments the candidate supports through their role. Furthermore, the skills development and coaching gained would be transferable to opportunities across GNB and beyond.
